Privacy Policy

Grounded Code is in private beta. This page describes what we collect and why in plain language. A full legal policy will replace this text before general availability.

What we collect

• Account data — your email, display name, and any OAuth identity you sign in with (via Supabase Auth).
• Your content — documentation sources you import, conversations, code snippets, and annotations you create.
• Usage events — which features you use, when, and basic error diagnostics. No keystrokes, no screen recording.

How we use it

• To run the product you signed up for.
• To answer your questions via Anthropic and OpenAI APIs. Neither provider uses API traffic to train models by default. See each provider's data policy for details.
• To email you if you opted in (Settings → Email Preferences).
• To debug errors and measure aggregate product usage.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not train AI models on your content.
• We do not share your content with third parties except the AI providers listed above.

Your rights

• Download your data at any time (Settings → Your data).
• Delete your account and everything associated with it (Settings → Danger zone). Deletion is permanent.
• Unsubscribe from any email category (Settings → Email Preferences).
